These replacement shifter bushings for the FIAT 500 Abarth & FIAT 500 Turbo are a must have if you are having shifter/transmission issues with your vehicle.
Around 50,000 miles we have seen the shifter linkage on the 500 Abarth starts to bind up especially during side to side movement. In most cases, the culprit is the bushings at the end of the shifter cable where they attach to the transmission.
There are 2 bushings that need to be replaced. If you are mechanically inclined most can do this on their own. The whole process takes about 1.5 hours and you will save yourself around $300 vs having a shop or dealership do this for you.
