The wastegate shaft gets loose and has play due to the fact that they are steel and get worn in time in the housing cause a boost leak and causes your car to miss and go into limp mode.
In most cases you must replace the turbo but we are trying to find a inexpensive option to keep your turbo for a few more years.
Takes about one hour to replace. It is fairly easy and can be done from the top of the engine.
